    Administrative Assistant

    The Gender Confirmation Center strives to have the best and most innovative service level in the field of medicine.  We believe that the standard of service in transgender and non-binary healthcare can sometimes be quite low, but we have built the tools and systems to change that for the better.  If you are interested in working in transgender healthcare, are naturally drawn toward service and want to be a part of an intelligent, energetic type environment, then this is a good fit for you. The Administrative Assistant must possess excellent customer service and communication skills and a high level of maturity, and also must be a strong a team player. The Administrative Assistant must be caring, courteous and have genuine compassion for our patients.

    What is your role?

    This role is part of the gender affirming surgical side of our practice and works closely with our patient coordinator, surgery coordinator, insurance coordinator, and our surgery patients. This role involves answering phones, creating and filing patient charts, scanning, and creating consultation notes. You will also be responsible for following up with patients to retrieve information such as insurance, therapist letters, and referrals. This role is also responsible for scheduling peer to peer meetings, sending and receiving packages, as well as troubleshoot office equipment and communicating with vendors.

    You will certainly be trained in all aspects of our practice, and will be fluent in the treatments available, you’ll learn unique ways to target a service approach to different personality types.  And of course, you will be an integral member of a wayward, proactive team which respects your individuality and creativity within the team.

    Dr. Scott Mosser, is a gender affirming plastic surgeon with an extremely solid reputation in Northern California, but also is a down-to-earth individual who strongly values respect toward his team and growth of his employees.

    The position primarily reports to the Gender Confirmation Surgery Manager. The team you’ll be surrounded by values team work, team success and team building. You will have the full support from each team member to help in making all your efforts successful.
